Workshops for Classroom Teachers
Educator Appreciation Night
July 31, 2013
4-7 PM
Join us for an evening of education, exploring, and fun at the zoo’s annual Educator Appreciation Night, Wednesday, July 31 from 4-7 PM.
Educators are invited to participate in behind-the-scenes tours, mini-workshops, and special activities. Plus you’ll enjoy food, giveaways, and PGP points, and it’s all FREE with pre-registration!
Educators must register in advance to get free zoo admission for the event. Send an e-mail with your name, grade level, county, and school to education@kidszoo.org to get on the list!
Note: Free admission with pre-registration applies to Educators and Homeschool Parents only. The workshops and activities at Educator Appreciation Night are designed for adults. Please be considerate of other attendees and do not bring children to the event.

Homeschool parents are welcome to attend Educator Appreciation Night (see above) on July 31.

Wild Nights
Find out what happens at the zoo when the lights go out! You’ll enjoy educational activities, food, and lots of fun, then bed down in the Aquarium Gallery (unless otherwise noted). Programs begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 a.m. the next day. Fee includes pizza dinner, snack, continental breakfast, and guided educational activities led by Zoo Education Staff.
