Zoo Job Fair March 13
The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo will host a Job Fair on Saturday, March 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pavilion #1 in Franke Park.
The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo, zoo gift shop operator Service Systems Associates, and zoo concession stand operator Ice Cream Partners will accept applications for about 75 seasonal positions to serve more than one-half million annual zoo guests.
Job openings include guest service positions at the food concessions, gift shops, admission gate, rides, and operations support. All positions range from 15 to 40 hours per week, and are for the duration of the zoo season, which runs from April 24 through October 10, 2010.
Applicants may download applications in advance at http://www.kidszoo.org/jobs/joblist.htm and bring them to the Job Fair.

The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is one of the area’s major attractions and was recently named one of the country’s “Ten Best Zoos for Kids” by Parents magazine.
The zoo opens for the season on Saturday, April 24, 2010.
