Age 3 with Adult
Me & You at the Zoo
This fun-filled 2 -1/2 hr. program is perfect for  3 year-olds and their favorite adult.  Each day you and your camper will explore a different area of the zoo, meeting new friends and learning about the animal kingdom. We’ll ride rides, play games, sing songs, meet animal friends and make something special to take home.

Age 4 with Adult
Zoo Buddy
This exciting 2 – 1/2 hr. program for 4 year-old children and their favorite adult will keep you smiling. Every day we’ll venture through a different area of the zoo, exploring with new friends and learning about the animal kingdom. Participants will ride rides, play games, sing songs, meet friendly zoo animals and make special crafts to take home. Campers are also encouraged to share the visit with their favorite stuffed animal from home!

Age 4-5
Animal Alphabet
In this engaging half-day program for children ages 4-5 years, campers will learn about the animals with an emphasis on the letters of the alphabet. Every day campers will venture through a different area of the zoo, exploring with our new friends and learning about the animal kingdom. We’ll ride rides, play games, sing songs, and make something special to take home.

Ages 4-5
Count the Zoo
In this fun-filled half day program for children ages 4-5 years, campers will learn about the animals with an emphasis on numbers and counting. Every day campers will venture through a different area of the zoo, exploring with new friends and learning about the animal kingdom. We’ll ride rides, play games, sing songs, and make special crafts to take home.

Age 5-6
Rumble in the Jungle
In this energetic program for children ages 5-6 years, campers will learn about the mysteries of the animal world, focusing on camouflage and special animal adaptations. Throughout the week, campers will venture through different areas of the zoo, exploring with their senses, making new friends and learning about the animal kingdom. Campers will ride rides, play games, sing songs, and make something special to take home.

Ages 5-6
Who’s Who at the Zoo
What’s a reptile? What’s a mammal? How do we tell them apart?  In this fun-filled program for children ages 5-6 years, we’ll find out! Every day campers will venture through a different area of the zoo, exploring with their hands, making new friends and learning about animal classification. Children will ride rides, play games, sing songs, and make fun crafts to take home.

Ages 5-6
Monkey See, Monkey Do
During this exciting program for children ages 5-6 years, campers will learn about primates from around the world, including the differences between monkeys and apes, primate behavior, and prehensile tails. Every day, campers will venture through a different area of the zoo, exploring with their hands, making new friends and learning all about primates. Children will ride rides, play games, sing songs, and make primate-themed crafts to take home.

Age 7-8
Design a Zoo
In this one-of-a-kind program for children ages 7-8 years that only the zoo can offer, we’ll explore the reasons we have zoos: Education, Recreation, Conservation, and Research. Participants will go behind the scenes at the zoo, observe how the zoo operates, meet the many people who work here and discover how we create exhibits. Campers will work together to create their own exhibit and zoo, which will be unveiled for families during a special program on Friday.   Campers will explore a different area of the zoo each day; they will ride rides, play games, and sing songs.

Ages 7-8
World Traveler
Give children ages 7-8 years an educational trip around the world this summer! Campers will learn about  animals and cultures from around the world. Campers will learn to speak as if Australian, play games and sing songs from Africa, make crafts like Indonesians and much more.  Every day children will explore a different area of the zoo, make new friends and learn about animals and the countries they come from. Campers will ride rides, play games, sing songs, and create cultural crafts.

Ages 7-8
Positively Predators
Join us for an action-packed program for children ages 7-8 years. Not all deadly creatures of the animal kingdom advertise the fact that they can do some serious damage; some are cute and furry while others appear deceptively slow. Each day campers will explore a different area of the zoo and learn about a different type of predator. We will ride rides, play games, sing songs, and make fun keepsakes to take home.

Age 9-10
Survivor
What does it take to survive in the wild? This action-packed camp for children ages 9-10 years will help you find out. Each day campers will discover a different area of the zoo and investigate different topic. Topics include predator/prey relationships, camouflage, and adaptations. Campers will use information learned in the morning to help them with fun survival activities in the afternoon.

Ages 9-10
Zoo Detective
This engaging program for children ages 9-10 years features a “Who done it?” theme. Campers will solve an animal mystery by gathering clues, decoding secret messages, and venturing through the zoo in search of answers. Campers will be exploring all areas of the zoo, riding rides and meeting new friends. Does your child have what it takes to solve the mystery and become a zoo detective?

Age 9-12
Animal Artist
Does your child age 9-12 years like to draw, paint, or sculpt AND love animals? This camp is for you! While campers will visit the zoo every day, most of their time will be spent learning about the animals they have chosen for their projects. Campers will fine tune their art skills and leave with some unique projects, including sketching, painting, print making, sculpture, and more. Projects will be on display Friday afternoon as an art show for other campers and parents.

Ages 9-12
Photo Safari
Is your child age 9-12 years a budding photographer? Join us on a photo safari as children explore the wonders of the zoo and the mysteries of the animal world. Each day, campers will visit the zoo to learn about the animals and fine-tune their photography skills. Campers will then select their favorite photos to create their very own scrapbook. Scrapbooks will be displayed the last day of camp and taken home as a souvenir to treasure forever. Campers must bring their own digital camera to camp each day.

Ages 9-12
Wild Writers
Do you know a 9-12 year old that loves reading, writing and animals? If so, this unique camp is just the fit! Using incredible zoo animals as subjects, campers are given the opportunity to explore different genres, such as short fiction, poetry, and journalism to create their own collection of written works.  Campers will even meet a published author and get writing tips!  Don’t miss the chance to let your child unleash their creativity at this all-new camp.

Age 11-12
Animal Training 101
At this one-of-a-kind learning program for children ages 11-12 years, we’ll explore operant conditioning and animal training.  Children will observe zoo keepers as they train animals and have a chance to talk with trainers.   Then, each camper will train an animal themselves!. Campers will get exclusive behind the scenes access, get their hands dirty caring for some friendly farm animals, and participate in a training competition.

Ages 11-12
Junior Zoo Keepers
This is the ultimate program for campers ages 11-12 years interested in learning what it takes to be a Zoo Keeper! Campers will get hands-on experience as they spend the week in the role of a keeper. Children will clean animal areas, prepare and deliver animal diets, explore animal training, conduct research, travel behind the scenes, and much more. Thursday includes a late arrival 12:30 p.m. and an overnight at the zoo. The overnight includes a pizza party, night hike, and much more!
