$35 of your adoption fee is tax-deductible. Note that all materials for your Classic Adoption will be e-mailed; you may download and print the materials on your home or office printer.
The Joys of Zoo Parenthood
By adopting an animal at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, you can enjoy animal parenthood without all the work. Our professional staff will provide the special diet, environment, and veterinary care that your animal requires. You’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to support your selected animal at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo.

What Do I Get When I Adopt?
You’ll receive a personalized certificate of adoption, a fact sheet about your animal, a 5” x 7” photograph of your animal, and recognition on kidszoo.org.
Who Can Be a Parent?
Any individual, organization, business, or club can adopt an animal. School classes are especially encouraged to become adoptive parents.
