Can you find our new Spotted Hyenas at the Zoo?
Two sisters, Ruckus and Havoc, joined the Fort Wayne Children Zoo’s family last season and are loving
their new home. Askari, our male Spotted Hyena, is enjoying the company of his new friends.
Can you spot the difference? Ruckus is a little lankier and has darker legs, while Havoc is stouter and
has a lighter face and legs.
One of our African Journey Section Supervisors, Lisa, shares that, “Ruckus and Havoc love inspecting
the water feature for danger and swimming once they know it’s safe! Guests may not realize they dive
under the water’s surface, and Askari loves doing this.”
