Mission Wildlife, established in October 2013, is a global initiative dedicated to several conservation projects across the globe. They first began with efforts in Kenya and Uganda, focusing on preserving the endangered wildlife in these countries. From Grevy’s zebras to spectacled bears to Bornean orangutans, Mission Wildlife has grown abundantly over the last decade and continues to further their work preserving wildlife in wild places.

Why do they need our support?

Mission Wildlife works to protect many different endangered species across the globe, who are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict.

How is the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo helping?

The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is proud to financially support Mission Wildlife, whose funds have specifically aided Spectacled Bear Conservation in their efforts to protect the vulnerable spectacled bear from the wildfires prevalent in their Peruvian habitat.
