At the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, we specialize in “Ooh” and “Awe!” Whether its inside the Zoo, where you can see all of the

colors in a lions’ mane and ask a Keeper why a gira es’ tongue is purple, or in the classroom, where you examine all of the
legs of a moving milliped and think like a scientist, the Zoo isn’t a place to just see nature and wildlife, but to connect with it.

While visiting classrooms, we asked students how the Zoo changed their view on nature.
