CREATING A FUTURE FOR

Clouded Leopards

Raury and Sanji met at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo in 2020, where it
was love at first sight. The two were paired together with the hope that

we would soon be welcoming a cub to the Zoo family and growing the
population of this vulnerable species. Fast forward two years, our hopes
have been met with smiles, celebration, and lots of hard work.

This clouded leopard cub represents a far greater conservation e ort that extends well beyond the
Zoo’s front gates and into organizations across the United States: Species Survival Plans.
